Book A Wine Tasting With Us

Ivanhoe Wines specialises in small and personal wine experiences for a maximum of 4 guests (children included) for both Personal Tastings and the Masterclass Experience. Please do not make separate bookings for larger groups for a tasting at the same time, this is an internal policy of Ivanhoe Wines.

Personal Tasting

Every cellar door visitor is invited to participate in a Personal Tasting as part of their Ivanhoe visit. The Personal Tasting includes a ‘how to’ of wine tasting designed to ensure you get the most out of each wine you sample.

Your host will give you hints and tips to help you identify the key characteristics of a wine so you can judge each wine for yourself. By the end of your Personal Tasting, you’ll be able to name your likes and dislikes, so you can find the Ivanhoe wine you love.

A Personal Tasting is a perfect introduction to Ivanhoe’s wines and an ideal addition to your itinerary if you have a few cellar doors to visit. These newfound wine tasting skills will come in handy as you visit other cellar doors during your visit to Pokolbin and the Hunter Valley.

$10 p/person (direct bookings)

Masterclass Experience

If you have a bit more time on your hands and want to treat yourself, we recommend booking a Masterclass Experience for your visit. This experience includes a Personal Tasting to get you familiar with our wine selection, as well as:

A gourmet Hunter Valley cheese platter served with a selection of olives, dried fruits and quince paste
Access to exclusive wines (premium selections, limited releases & museum releases)
Personal wine consultant to help you find wines that you'll love
Access to our Round Table room and Verandah tasting areas

Enjoying our local cheese plate with exclusive wines and spectacular vineyard views is an unforgettable experience to share with a loved one, friends or family.

VIP Members Tasting

One of the exclusive benefits of signing up to be an Ivanhoe Round Table Member. Bring your friends or family and enjoy a complimentary experience with access to Members only wines and Premium Releases in the Members room.

Upon arrival, you'll be shown to our Round Table members room and seated for your tasting. Of course, you're welcome to sit on the Verandah if you'd prefer. Wherever you choose, you can stake in the stunning vineyard views as you enjoy:

To ensure the best possible experience we have a maximum of 6 guests (children included) for members tastings. Please do not make separate bookings for groups of more than 6 guests. This is an internal policy of Ivanhoe Wines.
